Salary: $18.50 hourly

TITLE: Front Desk Supervisor

JOB TYPE: Part-Time, seasonal (May-December)

HOURS: Typically 8-hour shifts between the hours of 7am and 11pm

PAY RATE: Beginning at $18.50/hour, adjusted based on experience

ABOUT US: At The Nonantum Resort, we strive to provide memorable, high-quality experiences to our guests while maintaining a friendly and respectful work environment. The Front Desk is the heart of the Resort, and it is our goal to exceed expectations with every interaction.

ABOUT THE JOB:

  • Welcome and greet guests upon arrival and each time guests pass through the lobby.
  • Perform check in/out and reception/concierge duties.
  • Assist guests with general services and questions about the hotel and the area.
  • Guide less seasoned Front Desk Agents through tricky situations & assist when they have questions
  • Provide Bellhops with tasks and instructions during the shift
  • Exceed guest expectations at every turn.
  • Handle challenging situations independently and courteously to ensure a mutually agreeable resolution.
  • Take initiative and recognize the needs of others. Assist coworkers with tasks to keep the resort running smoothly.
  • Work collaboratively to facilitate optimal guest satisfaction.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Previous Front Desk experience in a resort or hotel setting required
  • Proven computer skills. Prior experience with resort management software a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone with people of all ages
  • Prior managerial or supervisory experience required
  • Success with handling multiple tasks with attention to detail
  • Comfortable with guest recovery
  • Confident asking for help when necessary
  • Aptitude for learning new skills
  • Ability to work with others both inside and outside your department
  • Ability to stand for multiple hours at a time without fatiguing
  • Flexible schedule strongly preferred. All Front Desk Agents are expected to work a combination of days, evenings, weekdays, and weekends
