TITLE: Marketplace Supervisor

JOB TYPE: Part-time, seasonal (May-December)

HOURS: 6 hour shifts between 8am and 8pm

PAY RATE: $17/hour plus gratuities

ABOUT US: At The Nonantum Resort, we strive to provide memorable, high-quality experiences to our guests while maintaining a friendly and respectful work environment. Our Marketplace offers guests to-go lunch items, coffee drinks, ice cream, and more. The Supervisor is responsible for serving guests with a smile and ensuring the smooth operation of the Marketplace while mentoring employees who are newer to the workforce.

ABOUT THE JOB:

• Serve guests in our Marketplace, including making coffee drinks, serving ice cream, and ringing up grab and go lunch items and apparel.
• Handle all alcohol sales in the Marketplace.
• Be available to help coworkers and manage others as needed.
• Ensure grab and go case is well stocked.
• Accommodate guests for all dietary requests.
• Adhere to proper sanitation, food handling, and hand washing policies. Ensure space is clean at all times.
• Manage time efficiently throughout business fluctuations to ensure consistent, high-standards of service.
• Take initiative and work collaboratively.

ABOUT YOU:

• Confidence using Point of Sale system and handling cash
• Proven leadership capabilities; prior supervisory experience highly preferred
• Proven ability to work as a team member; ability to see the needs of others and act accordingly
• Possess a positive attitude and confidence with engaging others in conversation
• Success with handling multiple tasks with attention to detail
• Confident asking for help when necessary
• Aptitude for learning new skills
• Ability to be reliable and punctual
