Scope of Work:
Under the direct supervision of the Talent Acquisition & Employee Relations Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for talent acquisition and employee lifecycle activities of non-management positions while marketing the organization as an employer of choice. They will also be responsible for providing general administrative support for the HR Team by producing reports, staying informed on industry trends and compliance, and responding to employee inquiries. An upbeat and positive attitude, collaborative spirit and strong customer service orientation are critical to success in this role.
Essential Functions (3):

  • Responsible for designated talent acquisition activities:
    • Independently manages the talent acquisition activities of non-management positions
    • Works closely with managers to ensure understanding of applicant requirements and qualifications
    • Evaluates applicants and collaborates with managers during the interview process
    • Communicates and emphasizes the value of the Company's compensation and benefits package
    • Proactively sources, develops and maintains ongoing relationships with a highly qualified and diverse network of prospective talent
    • Works closely with managers and applicants to ensure hiring process is efficient, effective and consistent
    • Assists with hiring, coordinating and tracking of all temporary and agency staff
  • Responsible for designated employee life cycle activities:
    • Ensures accurate and timely data entry of all lifecycle activities including: new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, etc.
    • Conducts stay interviews and provides feedback on trends, issues, and overall engagement
    • Coordinates exit meetings and communicates important information to employees prior to their last day
    • Maintains and processes all unemployment notices in a timely, efficient manner
    • Stays informed about industry trends and changes in employment laws and regulations
  • Department Support
    • Works directly with the HR team to provide administrative support for HR programs and projects, including maintaining department procedures
    • Ensures compliance with federal and state labor law regulations, including the management of required Labor Law notices
    • Produces and distributes various reports and organizational charts according to predetermined distribution schedule
    • Assists with maintaining both paper and electronic files while adhering to established retention guidelines
    • Responds to employee inquiries and provides assistance on HR-related matters

  • Understands, supports and adheres to applicable organizational policies/procedures and state/federal regulations

  • Responsible for keeping abreast of company news and information
  • Responsible for completing required training and policy review
  • May serve on various committees
  • Willingness to take on additional tasks and duties
Desired Certifications & Licenses:
  • SHRM-CP or PHR preferred
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Current knowledge of Human Resources employment laws and recruiting best practices
  • Strong background in managing recruitment and retention activities
  • Displays high level of regard for trust and confidentiality
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
  • Displays strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Displays strong organization skills and the ability to multi-task to meet established deadlines
  • Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Effectively uses analytical skills to solve technical, as well as, non-technical problems
  • Prior knowledge of regulations within the financial services industry is preferred
  • Ability to adapt to change
Desired Experience & Education:
  • 2 years of related experience in recruitment and/or human resources activities preferred
  • Experience in a professional, service focused and fast-paced environment
  • High school or General Education Diploma
Working Conditions & Minimum Physical Requirements:
  • Physical surroundings are generally pleasant and comfortable with minimal exposure to injury or other hazards
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer and other office equipment
  • Lifting and moving of moderately heavy objects on occasion
  • Normally seated for extended periods of time
