Interim MDS Coordinator Skilled Nursing Facility
Pay Rate per Hour : $45-$55
Total Gross Pay Weekly : $1,800 - $2,200

LeaderStat has a new opportunity for an MDS Coordinator (RN) in Kalamazoo, Michigan. We’re looking for a driven, experienced MDS nurse who can commit to a 6-week contract in a skilled nursing facility.
When you join the LeaderStat team, you’ll be connected with a dedicated specialist before and during your assignment. They will work with you to coordinate onboarding, travel arrangements, and assist with any questions along the way.
Job Duties
- Assessing resident needs and coordinating individualized care plans based on assessment results
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure that care plan guidelines are followed
- Ability to accurately determine PDPM categories, HIPPS codes
- Ensuring that the nursing facility is receiving accurate and maximum reimbursement from Medicare and Medicaid
Qualifications
- Successful completion of an MDS training program
- In-depth working knowledge of RAI user manual, as well as PDPM / HIPPS
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
- Knowledge of current state, federal, and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong computer literacy and competency skills
- Up-to-date clinical compliance
- Two-step TB test
- Physical exam within the last 12 months
- Successful completion of MDS Assessment via Relias Benefits
