SOLT Café- Chef
This position is for a well-rounded chef with café experience, as well as, front and back of house experience. Help us create an amazing experience for our community! With this new concept, we will service, the clients of Panache Salon & Day Spa, SOLT- salt cave & spa and the general public.
Duties and responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations of the cafe.
Prepare food and drinks for customers.
Create menus and specials. Add new menu items based on seasonality and customers’ preferences.
Train other employees on all preparation and proper use of equipment.
Coordinate with vendors and order supplies, as needed.
Follow and maintain an inventory that minimizes waste, shrink and maximizes profitability.
Maintain updated records of daily, weekly and monthly revenues and expenses via software.
Ensure all cafe areas are clean and tidy.
Experience qualifications:
Experience in working a variety of restaurant or food service capacities. Cooking, baking, barista, bartending knowledge, will be necessary.
Hiring and leading people previously.
Excellent customer service skills are a must.
Disciplined, creative and most of all, reliable. Prepare to lead by example.
The café chef should maintain flexibility and willingness to adapt to change.
Strong organizational skills are necessary.
Salary based on experience and education. $17-$22 per hour with benefits available.
