Adams and Reese LLP is Hiring a Paralegal (Construction Litigation) Near Jacksonville, FL

Assist construction litigation attorneys to perform legal tasks including research; document procurement, review, summarization, management and production; drafting and filing form pleadings; and case and trial preparation. Responsibilities include:

  • Analyze, maintain and produce legal and other documents.
  • Draft form pleadings and releases.
  • Assist with propounding and answering writing discovery.
  • Prepare subpoenas and deposition notices.
  • Request records, assist with responding to discovery, and prepare Freedom of Information Act requests and authorizations for the release of medical, employment and other records.
  • Perform social media research.
  • Prepare deposition summaries and chronologies.
  • Check dockets and file pleadings (including e-filing in state and federal district and appellate courts).
  • Use Westlaw and other legal research and analytical tools.
  • Prepare trial exhibits, trial notebooks and bench books and demonstrative exhibits.
  • Communicate with clients, court personnel, experts, attorneys and others by telephone, in person and in writing, obtaining and giving information as directed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
