Job description
The Territory Representative plays a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and driving the sales of our material handling equipment and solutions within a designated geographic area. This position is responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and achieving revenue targets.
Responsibilities
- Identify and target new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Present and demonstrate the benefits of the company’s equipment and solutions to potential clients.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Stay up-to-date with the features, benefits, and technical aspects of the company’s equipment and solutions.
- Provide customers with in-depth product knowledge and address their questions or concerns effectively.
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs tailor sales strategies accordingly.
- Report market feedback and insights to the sales and marketing teams.
- Prepare and deliver accurate price quotes and proposals to customers.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with potential clients, adhering to company pricing and contract guidelines.
- Travel within the assigned territory to meet with clients, conduct product demonstrations, and attend industry events and trade shows.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date records in the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Any and all additional duties assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- - Must have experience in territory sales within the industrial equipment industry.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Proficiency in using sales and CRM software (salesforce is a plus)>
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License for travel.
Work Environment
- Mainly office based.
- Warehouse/Shop setting.
- Field.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to withstand long drives.

Pay: $38,581.56 - $158,273.68 per year
