McKnight Steel & Tube Co., a metal service center located in Warminster, Pa. and serving the regional metalworking/manufacturing marketplace, is seeking a motivated Accounting Assistant to join its team. - Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Confirm shipping figures and prepare invoices.
- Discuss invoices with customers.
- Monitor sales backlog and aging reports.
- Record incoming payments and payables.
- Prepare payments to suppliers.
- Enter and reconcile bank entries.
- Handle tax and other payments.
- Handle month-end activities.
- Answer phone calls.
- Prepare reports.
- File documents.
Requirements
- High School diploma.
- Accounting experience.
- Computer knowledge.
