Our client, a growing manufacturing in Suffolk County is looking to hire an accounting manager with manufacturing experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to work along side the CFO and grow into a Controller position. 

Job Description:

Assist the CFO in all aspects of managing and accounting department. 

This position will be involved heavily in the day to day.

Assist in the preparation of financial statements. 

Assist in the month end close.

Assist in the budgeting and forecasting. 

Strong variance analysis. 

Assist in cost accounting – track by job for each custom packaging run – job costing – overhead rates & Labor rates.

Assist in monitoring the construction of the new manufacturing facility.

Manage cash flow and monitor debt. 

Oversee the Accounts Payable, accounts receivable. 

Qualifications:

5 years accounting experience

Manufacturing experience is a must

Strong excel skills must have pivots and V- lookups

CPA a plus.
