RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct thorough financial analysis and underwriting for potential real estate acquisitions including commercial, residential and mixed-use properties.
Develop and maintain financial models for cash flow projections, ROI, IRR and NPV analyses, cash on cash returns, leverage cash flows and waterfalls.
Perform market research, due diligence and analyze trends to inform investment decisions. Focus on New York, but national market research may be required.
Collaborate with executives, including principals, to evaluate property and portfolio opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Bachelors Degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics or related field.
-4-5 years of experience in real estate financial analysis required
-Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, particularly in Excel
Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills
-Familiarity with real estate underwriting and valuation methods
-Effective communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information in a clear and concise manner
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
