About us
We are an ALS ambulance service, providing emergency care to Lackawaxen Township and mutual aid to surrounding townships.
We are a 501(3)(c) organization, and our management structure consits of an eleven member Board of Directors, Captain, Lieutenant and Office Manager.
Our goal is to provide quality and professional care to all of our patients.
**Office Manager**
**Duties:**
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the office
- Manage and coordinate administrative tasks and responsibilities
- Maintain office supplies and equipment inventory
- Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports
- Assist with budgeting and financial management tasks
- Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Perform balance sheet reconciliation and journal entries
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Provide support to staff members as needed
**Skills:**
- Proficient in corporate accounting practices
- Strong 10-key typing skills
- Knowledge of balance sheet reconciliation techniques
- Familiarity with accounts receivable processes
- Ability to perform accurate journal entries
- Understanding of debits and credits in accounting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks financial software
- Knowledge of GAAP principles and guidelines
- Previous experience as an accounting clerk or similar role
Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Publisher.
This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
