Location: Hasbrouck Heights, NJ (Hybrid)
Position Type: Full-Time/Perm
Functions
- Plan and direct all aspects of the organization's human resources policies, objectives, and initiatives
- Acts as a strategic resource to senior leadership on HR initiatives, programs, and issues
- Analyzes and maintains HR policies & procedures to ensure governmental compliance.
- Manage, lead and develop human resources/payroll staff
- Lead recruitment activities for all corporate and plant based positions
- Maintain proficiency in all current employee related laws including ADA, FMLA, Sexual Harassment, Title VII etc.
- Manage employee claims and litigation in conjunction with internal and external counsel
- Familiarity with judicial process as it relates to employee issues (i.e. EEOC, DOL, Human Rights Commission & formal lawsuits.)
- Executes company-wide benefit and compensation programs
- Develop and lead management, leadership, coaching and counseling, team building, harassment awareness and other employee development sessions
- Manage HR department budget
- 4-year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 10 years' experience working in an HR capacity, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with ADP Workforce Now
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
