Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA, is hiring an Enviornmental Services Tech III. This is a full time, evening (2nd) shift position with rotating weekends.

The Enviornmental Services Tech III is responsible for maintenance of floors. Practices safe work habits through the appropriate use of chemicals, various equipment and cleaning applications to include: mopping, scouring, scrubbing, stripping and polishing. Cross trained to EST I competencies in order to provide cleaning duties when necessary.

Requirements:

• 1 year of related experience as an Environmental Associate.

• 1 year of housekeeping/ESD experience required in lieu of High School Education

As an Environmental Services Technicianwith Sentara, you will be working around patients in housekeeping. This position's primary duties include cleaning the patients' rooms, hallways, and any spills. You will also have the opportunity to be cross-trained in other areas.
