Job Summary:

Perform general accounting procedures, including processing, reconciliation, and verification for payment on incoming non-fuel invoices and billings relative to specific or assigned Bosselman Companies.

Primary Job Duties:

• Adhere to the company’s Vision and Core Values.
• Adhere and comply with the company’s handbook and company policies.
• Assist vendors with credit applications; set up new vendors in J.D. Edwards. 
• Verify account/payment information and ensure invoices have appropriate sales and use tax, discounts, etc.
• Enter invoices and establish payment terms according to schedule.
• Generate checks and verify remittance.
• Work with divisions and internal staff to ensure accurate accounting/payment procedures are met.
• Monitor and balance inter-company accounts.
• Prepare W-9s and tax-exempt documents as needed.
• Process incoming mail and route to the appropriate division for payment authorization.
• Research and resolve A/P-related questions or discrepancies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications/Preference:

Education:

• HS diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

• 3 years experience working with billing, payables processing, and/or a related experience preferred.
• Experience with J. D. Edwards systems is preferred.

Certificate, Licenses, Registrations:

• Current Driver’s License preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:

• Ability to read, write, and understand English required; ability to read work orders and blueprints required.
• Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities and work with tight deadlines while exercising attention to detail required.
• Computer experience preferred.

Work Environment:

Office environment uses a computer, telephone, and other office equipment to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. May encounter frequent interruptions throughout the work day.
