Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
Assist with month-end close and quarterly/annual reporting.
Reconcile bank statements and other accounts.
Handle inventory and freight management tasks.
Analyze financial data and generate reports.
Support the Controller with various accounting projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred, but not required.
Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop preferred, QB online is okay.
Solid understanding of both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High-energy, self-motivated "go-getter" with a strong desire to learn and grow.
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
The biggest perk: This specific position will be groomed to move into Controller position.
