The Behavior Consultant works along with the Behavior Director, Behavioral Specialists (BCBA), and Behavior Line staff to provide consulting, counseling and support for adult IDD individuals supported in Strive Residential and Vocational Settings. The Behavioral Consultant provides clinical services and works with the behavior team. The Behavioral Consultant is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, communicating and continually evaluating the counseling needs of adult individuals with developmental Disabilities. The Behavioral Consultant is required to adhere to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board Guidelines for Responsible Conduct for Behavior Analysts.
Guidelines:
RELIABILITY. Punctual attendance is essential; expected to be at job as scheduled each scheduled day.
CONSULTING. Conducting follow-up sessions with adult IDD individuals to assess their needs and develop treatment plans.
REFERRAL AND ASSESSMENT. Responds to referrals for service in a timely and appropriate manner. conducts functional behavioral assessments and appropriate skill-based assessments
MONITORING. Responsible for ongoing individual program oversight and monitoring. Revises programs as indicated to ensure effectiveness.
PLAN DEVELOPMENT AND DATA COLLECTION. Develops individualized goals and objectives for Residential and Vocational based programs and designs behavior support plans based on functional assessment data. Analyses data and makes data-based recommendations for strategies.
TRAIN. Perform training opportunities to clinical team members ensuring program fidelity.
BILLING. Maintains billable caseload and documents billable hours of service per Strive guidelines. Ensure proper billing entry in Therap. Services data system as required.
ACCOUNTABILITY. Meets regularly with BCBA and notifies her/him immediately of issues impacting individual’s progress and satisfaction from Counseling Session notes. Completes all necessary documentation in a timely and satisfactory manner as requested by the BCBA.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT. Maintains required certifications/licensures in good standing. Participates in professional meetings or conferences for professional developed or pursuant to the mission, vision, and values of Strive.

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
