Hello! I am looking for an awesome team member who is excited to be part of a brand new modern dental office in Fulton, MD. This amazing team member has an incredible opportunity to help me build an office with an enjoyable work culture and will have tons of freedom to work toward their strengths. It will be a part time position on Tuesdays, Friday, Saturdays with potential for full time once we have more patients!

Tuesday will be 9AM -6:30PM

Friday will be 8AM-5PM

Saturday will be 9-2PM

Looking for someone who:

- is willing to learn new technology such as 3D printing and online practice software

- has a friendly personality and can talk to people

-is flexible in their hours

- is committed in their role in the office and willing to be mentored

-is organized and has some dental knowledge

Most important requirement is PERSONALITY! Experience is not required, I am looking for a team member who is passionate and energetic about their work!

Xray certification is required, but do not let that discourage you

Some responsibilities include:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures

-create a comfortable atmosphere for the patients
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take dental X-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar

Skills:
- Proficient in taking dental X-rays and operating dental imaging equipment
- Strong assisting skills, including passing instruments, mixing materials, and suctioning
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and maintaining a sterile environment
- Ability to perform medical imaging procedures such as panoramic or cone-beam CT scans
- Knowledge of taking vital signs and recording patient information accurately
- Proficient in aseptic technique to prevent the spread of infection
- Familiarity with dental receptionist duties, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Understanding of medical coding for insurance billing purposes
