The QMHP-A plans and implements skill building services, daily living skills, social skills, psychoeducational services, and/or case management services for Mental Health Skill-Building clients. Serves as a support system for MHSS clients to assist them with remaining stable in the community and preventing hospitalization, improving daily living skills, mental health support. The QMHP-A shall assist individuals with individualized goal-directed training in order to acquire or maintain self-regulation of basic living skills, such as symptom management, adherence to psychiatric and physical health medication treatment plans, appropriate use of social skills and personal support system, skills to manage personal hygiene, food preparation, and the maintenance of personal adequate nutrition, money management, and use of community resources in the home and community settings.
Immediate Supervisor: Clinical Director
Duties and Responsibilities
-Provide mental health support to the client to help maintain in the community.
-Provide psychoeducational support to clients to include daily living skills and social skill to maintain independence in the community.
-Assure a safe environment and coordinate client with mental health service or other emergency community-based assistance.
-Implement treatment plans that identify problem behaviors and set measurable objectives to ameliorate problems.
-Use therapeutic relationship to build client’s positive skills/behaviors.
-Maintain current training in TOVA (behavior modification model), CPR, and First Aid.
-Ensure proper documentation of services as required
-Possess, keep, use and own a personal cell phone providing the cell phone number to the Clinical Director, participants, and legal guardians for service delivery.
-Participate in monthly individual/group supervisions.
· Other job duties as assigned.
Must complete background screenings to include Central Registry and FBI Fingerprint and be deemed eligible for employment and provide a TB screening.

Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Experience in mental health diagnoses and case management.
