This part-time position is currently funded for not more than 25 hours per week. As Eastern Sports Management continues to grow, full-time positions may become available.

Eastern Sports Management is accepting applications for Human Resource Coordinator at its corporate headquarters in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The Human Resource Coordinator supports the Director of Human Resources in the day-to-day management of the Human Resource department. The incumbent will perform a variety of administrative tasks and is expected to need little or no supervision after initial guidance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage Internship Program
  • Manage application/applicant flow
  • Manage Training Program
  • Monitor internal audit metrics
  • Assist in management and maintenance of personnel files
  • Assist in compiling data for governmental compliance reports
  • Assist Human Resources Director as needed

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of UKG (Kronos) Workforce Ready is highly preferred, HRIS experience is required
  • Knowledge of Virginia and Federal Personnel Law is preferred
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and MS Office is required
  • Ability to read/write in English is required. Proficiency in other languages is desirable
  • Ability to prioritize work to achieve corporate goals are met on time
  • Ability to work independently and perform duties with only initial guidance
  • Ability to guide others through job-related processes utilizing available technology

The Human Resources Coordinator normally performs their duties in a temperature and humidity-controlled executive office setting The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

The company creates, markets, and manages sports and recreation programs of all types. Some are camp and recreation-focused, while others are very large events. ESM caters to both youth and adult customers via indoor and outdoor activities, producing programs for families with children as young as 18 months of age to NCAA tournaments.
