Responsible for providing psychological evaluation, intervention and consultation for patients at the CMHC of Cape Fear Valley Health System. Provides assistance and consultation to other psychotherapists and clinic team members as needed. Serves as a clinical resource and provides psychological services to patients and their families who are seeking mental health services through the CMHC.
Provide psychological evaluations. Interviews patients and their family members as needed to ascertain appropriate psychological services needed. Provides psychotherapy with patients, families and groups. Provides psychological counseling services to patients in the Cape Fear Valley Rehabilitation Center. Prepares and maintains confidential case records. Consults with service providers, other team members, and community partners on resource-related issues. Ensures confidentiality and controls access to sensitive information. Completes all required documentation. Provides patient and family education. Assists patients and their family members across multiple systems of care.
