JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Controller Reports to: CEO
Salary Range: DOE Date: May 2024

SUMMARY
The Controller position is responsible for serving as a team leader in the finance department and ensuring the department creates accurate and timely financial records for the organization.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in preparing financial statements and analytical reports
• Assure compliance with tax and governmental reporting/licensing requirements
• Process weekly payroll
• Cash management & cash flow projections
• Oversee billing & collection activities
• Analysis of job costs, operations of various divisions & project managers
• Oversee inventory accounting
• Reconcile bank accounts
• Maintain calendar of recurring items, e.g. raises, safety meetings, social functions, regulatory deadlines
• Oversee purchase of office supplies & maintenance of telephone, copy, & other office equipment
• Manage communication and wireless communication hardware and software
• Conduct special projects as assigned by CEO
• Oversee accounts payable
• Perform HR functions, such as monitoring employee benefits, deductions and communication

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business-related field
• Able to manage multiple concurrent tasks and work effectively against deadlines.
• Highly self-motivated with ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction to accomplish objectives
• Highly detail oriented and organized in work
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
