Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments for a medical office
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding appointments and scheduling
- Utilize phone systems and software programs such as Dentrix
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and ensure their needs are met
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient scheduling and patient flow
- Maintain accurate records of appointments and update patient information as needed
- Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Bilingual English-Spanish is a plus
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with medical office procedures and terminology is a plus
- Proficiency in using phone systems and software programs such as Dentrix.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism
- Knowledge of medical administrative support functions, including front desk operations and patient services
