Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The Dental Receptionist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, managing phone systems, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient records. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Medical or Dental Receptionist and be familiar with dental software such as Dentrix, eClinicalWorks, or Epic. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical scheduling is also preferred. Responsibilities: - Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner - Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff member - Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar - Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing inquiries - Maintain patient records and update information as necessary - Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality - Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes - Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth operations of the office Experience: - Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or Medical Receptionist is preferred - Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix, eClinicalWorks, or Epic is a plus - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical scheduling is desirable - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
