Dr. Otilia Marticorena DMD is Hiring a Dental Receptionist Near Elizabeth, NJ

We're seeking a skilled Receptionist who is fluent in both English and Spanish to join our practice for June. As the first point of contact for our dental office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient service and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.

Location: Elizabeth, NJ

Hours: Monday-Thursday, Some Fridays as needed (No Weekends)

Hourly Pay: $15.50 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Handle reception duties including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and greeting patients warmly as they arrive at the office.
  • Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims accurately.
  • Assist with patient check-ins, collect payments, and input data into our systems efficiently.
  • Perform general office tasks such as filing, organizing paperwork, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Ensure a smooth flow of communication between patients, staff, and management.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar
  • Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and confidentiality
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (Portuguese proficiency is a plus).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in healthcare or dental receptionist roles.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of dental procedures
  • Detail-oriented, punctual, and organized with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
