Profit Consultants is in search of a seasoned Accountant.
The position is a full time accounting position which includes tax preparation during tax season. Main duties include monthly client write up/bookkeeping. We offer a variety of bookkeeping services to our clients and strive to be the best. We would prefer someone who also has public accounting experience and wants to work in monthly write up in a small, growing, busy Accounting Firm.
During tax season this individual will also be responsible for interviewing, collecting information, and preparing individual and business tax returns, filing of returns and client meetings. They will need to have all necessary hours completed for returning PTIN before end of year to practice before the IRS or eligible to apply for a PTIN.
Requirements:
- 2 or 4 year accounting degree
- 1-2 years tax preparer experience with current PTIN
- Good Communication Skills
- Self Starter and be able to work independently but also a team player
- At least 2 years QuickBooks Online experience
- 1 years Accounting preferred for monthly write up experience working with various clients
Duties:
- Monthly Writeup/Bookkeeping for Billable Clients
- Accounts Payable as Assigned
- Payroll for 10 Clients
- Manage/Maintain Spread Sheets (ie; client list, checklist, tax client organizer/list)
- Manage Certain Client Projects
- Write Processes for Clients
- Facebook and Website Updates
- Filing/Office Organization
- Other Duties as Assigned
- Seasonal Duties
- Tax Office Administration
- Income tax preparation
- Various year end projects
- Secretary of State LLC Biennial filings
- FinCEN filings
