Ainsley Search Group is Hiring an Electrical Maintenance Technician Near Denver, PA

The Ainsley Search Group is actively hiring highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Technicians (1st or 3rd shift, flexible) to support a mid-sized local manufacturer. This role will provide general mechanical and electrical maintenance support for both the Denver, Pa and Lancaster, Pa manufacturing locations.

Responsibilities

  • Help maintain all machinery.
  • Repair various electrical and mechanical production equipment. Proficient troubleshooting skills for motors, motor controls and equipment electronic systems to make necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Follow preventative maintenance schedule and complete work orders.
  • Trouble-shoot PLC based control systems and make component adjustments and/or repairs.
  • Assist with the daily, weekly, monthly preventative maintenance procedures, maintain records, computer files and update and revise files & procedures as necessary.
  • Work with production in troubleshooting and scheduling preventative maintenance and equipment repairs.
  • Assist with safety compliance inspections and maintain operating certificates such as boiler and pressure vessel certificates.
  • Analyze equipment failures, determine causes and make necessary adjustments and repairs.
  • Must be able to read mechanical and electrical drawings and identify parts on BOMS.
  • Solid background in 120/240/480 VAC single and multi-phase systems.
  • Assist with appropriate safety practices.
  • Maintain spare parts inventory, storage and organization and ensure spare parts are ordered in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • 4 years of Industrial Maintenance Experience.
  • Understanding or work experience with Allen Bradley or Siemons Control System Components
  • Knowledge and understanding of PLC and motor controls.
  • 2 years working with industrial controls or related systems. Formal training in related fields will substitute for one of the two years minimum.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills when interacting with fellow employees and vendors
  • Ability to understand and interpret complex written and oral instructions
  • Experience with VFDs and motor controls highly preferred
  • Hydraulics knowledge.
  • Thorough knowledge of the occupation hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of assigned duties.
  • Drivers’ license required – Local Travel Required.
  • Ability to use hands well.
  • Ability to work in light to moderate noise levels where hearing protection is required.
  • May work near moving mechanical parts and may be exposed to airborne particles and vibration.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
  • Move up to 400 yards to work and break areas.
  • Stand eight hours per shift - Steel toe shoes required.

*This is a full-time direct hire position paying an hourly wage OT.
