The Ainsley Search Group is actively hiring and Engineering Estimator to support an industrial components manufacturer who has been serving the Philadelphia area for over 100 years. This is a full-time, on-site position focused on preparing accurate quotes for pricing and building estimates for special items by gathering information and analyzing material and job costing. This role will also create job routings and costing using current ERP system to fabricate parts per customer drawings

Responsibilities:

• Create estimates and price standards to maximize profit.
• Works with cross-functional departments (i.e., engineering, customer service, production, QA, shipping) as needed to ensure accurate quotes and lead times.
• Review completeness of customer specifications and documentation for manufacturing purposes.
• Determine the types of materials needed and obtain cost estimates from suppliers.
• Determine sub-contract needs and obtain estimates when necessary.
• Calculate labor hours using established standards and production staff input.
• Prepare estimates using labor rates, markups and other factors provided by management.
• Ensure document control as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or Business (Required)
• 3 years of relevant experience.
• Must be comfortable working in a team and with customers.
• Experience with project management and ERP software.
• Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
