- Maintain existing CAD Drawings and SolidWorks designs and provide continuous improvements
- Work with Manufacturing Staffs to document/identify mechanical issues on existing product
- Work with Engineering Support Staffs to release the changes to Manufacturing Staffs and provide trainings/guidance of the changes so issues can be resolved
- Work with Vendors to approve mechanical parts matching drawing specification
- Develop CAD drawings for cable harnesses and PCBs/PCAs
- Work with Engineering Support Staff to create bill of material list for various mechanical parts and/or subassemblies
- Develop/Model mechanical systems using SolidWorks
- Build mechanical prototypes so that prototype system can be developed faster
- Work with various machine shop equipment including mill, lathe, break press, belt sander, drill press, band saw, CNC machine, and 3D printer
- Design overlay graphics following standard company design guidelines using Illustrator Software
- Work with overlay printing machine and cutter to verify overlay designs fit properly on products
- Work with Product Managers to translate ideas to drawings/designs
- Communicate well with other engineers and managers
- Work with multiple projects in parallel
