OverviewAs a Switch Migration Technician, you will play a crucial role in the successful migration of network switches from legacy systems to new infrastructure. This position requires a deep understanding of network architecture, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities- Collaborate with network engineers and other IT professionals to plan and execute switch migration projects.
- Perform pre-migration assessments to identify potential risks or issues.
- Develop and implement migration strategies to ensure minimal disruption to network services.
- Ensure proper connectivity and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any network or connectivity issues that arise during the migration process.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure smooth integration of new switches into the network.
- Document all migration activities, including configurations, test results, and troubleshooting steps.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in network technologies.

Qualifications- Degree or certification in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a network technician or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
