Ravenna Homes is Hiring a Purchasing Assistant Near Cypress, TX
The Purchasing Assistant is primarily responsible for accurately inputting, updating and maintaining data. This position works closely with the Purchasing Manager to provide support to Construction Managers and Sales Consultants.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Create and issue purchase orders as each home is released for construction
· Ensure invoices are accurate, investigate discrepancies and resolve issues
· Organize and maintain subcontractor and vendor contracts
· Update floorplan and elevations takeoffs
· Accurately input data and update pricing in Precision software
· Review all completed tasks carefully for accuracy and quality
· Assist in resolving issues related to purchase orders and invoices
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS [required]
· Attention to detail and accuracy of data
· A minimum of 1 year of general purchasing experience or 1 year of administrative experience with a homebuilder
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel
· Effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
· High school diploma or equivalent
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
· Hyphen (Precision and Buildpro) software experience
· Residential construction industry experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
