We are a well-established hospice company looking to add to our growing team!! Preferred Hospice has 6 offices in Missouri serving over 65 counties in the state. Our offices are in St Louis, Dexter, Farmington, Columbia, Lexington, and Ozark.

We are currently looking for a special person to work as part of our hospice interdisciplinary team in our Columbia, MO office. We are looking for someone who can communicate with and coordinate volunteers. Our Columbia office has a very busy volunteer program and needs someone who is organized and enthusiastic! The ideal candidate would also have a background as a CNA or HHA.

Must be ready for a busy office and able to multi-task!

Primary hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.

JOB DUTIES

Communicating with volunteers, monitoring volunteer hours, documenting volunteer time, visiting patients as needed for volunteer visits.

Recruiting and retaining volunteers in every county we serve in Mid-Missouri.

Assisting with activities in nursing facilities and the community.

Representing Preferred Hospice in a professional manner at all times to increase census, patient satisfaction, and volunteer participation.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School graduate, good organizational skills, computer skills, professional presentation to public and staff.

Hourly rate based on experience (rate listed in ad was created by Indeed). Mileage reimbursement included. Insurance and other benefits available to full-time staff.

Knowledge of some medical terminology helpful but not required. Willing to train the right person.

Prefer CNA Certification.

Good customer service and phone etiquette a must.

Must be flexible and able to multi-task to work in a busy hospice office.
