Servpro is Hiring a Hr generalist Near Columbia, MO

Summary The HR Generalist is responsible for providing a wide range of HR support to employees and managers. This includes tasks such as recruitment and hiring, onboarding, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and training and development.

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in HR generalist or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and principles.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Required Qualifications :

  • Experience with insurance related claims regarding packout, contents and storage
  • Effective written and oral communication
  • Have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during tense or stressful situations
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check

Required Education :

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
  • Ability to repetitively push / pull / lift / carry objects
  • Ability to work with / around cleaning agents
  • Ability to wear a respirator for their safety due to potentially being exposed to fumes or airborne particles

Travel Requirements :

Travel will occasionally be required as the person in the role will need to travel to our other locations (Columbia, Marshall, Lake of the Ozarks) for On-boarding, trainings, etc.
