Role Description

The Treatment Manager/Assistant Director will manage the individual and Family Supports program at Central Missouri Regional Office. The Treatment Manager/Assistant Director will also be responsible for the day-to-day functions of the Regional Office in the absence of the Director.

Typical Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, 5 or more years of relevant experience, and 1-2 years of supervising experience (Substitutions may be allowed).

Candidate will need to possess excellent organizational skills, written communication skills and the ability to professionally and calmly handle multiple competing priorities.

What you’ll do

  • Provide leadership that assures the Department and Division mission, values, and outcomes are implemented throughout the Regional Office.
  • Review all contacts with Quality Assurance and direct follow-up.
  • Review all critical EMTs and provide direct follow-up.
  • Review and approve all NAFS requests.
  • Review all TCM quarterly and annual trend reports with the Director and address issues with TCM entities.
  • Serve on the variance committee and assist with transition meetings when needed.
  • In the absence of the Director provide administrative functions of the Regional Office.
  • In the absence of the Director, review inquiry and investigative reports and make determinations, requests plans for action from provider agencies for system enhancement, ensure preliminary determination and final determinations are conducted per regulation and ensure that due process occurs for those alleged perpetrators who have been substantiated of abuse and neglect.
  • Hold monthly TCM calls for county boards prepare agenda, facilitate and cite authorities for meeting.
  • Attend monthly Director’s/Assistant Director’s meeting to strategically plan for the Regional Office. Give updates at All Staff meetings, management meetings and individual employee meetings to disseminate information to staff; attend PMAG quarterly, participate in placement update meeting to review placement issues.
  • Provide day to day troubleshooting: crisis management, assistance with transitions, as needed, working with TCM providers and other provider agencies.
  • Supervisor expectations:
    • Supervise and lead the Support Coordinator Supervisor, TCM/TACs, and the clerical support team for Client Records.
    • Monitor employee assignments to ensure accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and complies with CSRs, DORs, guidelines, and/or directives.
    • Recommend trainings for staff on new processes and enhancements.
    • Review, submit, and approve all timesheets by established deadlines.
    • Assist for hiring, developing and promoting qualified individuals through defined department processes.
    • Meet with all team members monthly and record meetings in Engage tracking system.
    • Document performance throughout the year and address situations that need to be addressed in a timely fashion.
    • Monitor personnel issues, address sick leave, annual leave, tardiness, and overall work performance.
    • Foster a flexible and open environment for the exchange of ideas by being open to differing opinions and ideas.
    • Make timely and consistent decisions and communicate those to staff in a clear manner.
  • Attend regular meetings as defined and requested by the Director.
  • Maintain flex schedule in response to timelines in completing job duties.
  • Work in a professional manner within the Regional Office, with each other and all departments and with all other departments and outside agencies, organizations, and partners.
