Position Overview:

As a Sales Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our growth by generating and qualifying leads. Your curiosity, upbeat personality, exceptional communication skills, and strong problem-solving abilities will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Researching to identify potential prospects

• Conducting email marketing outreach, including growing the email list and maintaining the email calendar

• Managing conference participation, both virtual and in-person, as required, including booth setup and representation

• Securing product previews to meet quotas

• Hosting guided tours of FactCite for prospective customers

• Monitoring prospects' interest to guide them through the decision-making process

• Collaborating with the Subscriber Support team to nurture previewers

• Managing conference participation, both virtual and in-person, as required

• Working with consortium and learning management system partners to expand the subscriber base

Key Performance Indicators:

• Generating qualified leads and achieving goals

• Demonstrating commitment to company growth and subscriber success

• Continuous improvement in knowledge of the K12 market

• Active listening to identify opportunities and changes in customer decision-making factors

• Presentation skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required

• 1 years of selling experience preferred; willing to train the right person!

• Proven track record of exceeding goals, preferably in sales

• Ability to learn new technology

• Curiosity, well-organized, and able to work with little supervision

• Honest, open, and professional in interactions with prospects and subscribers

• Willingness to travel as needed; The position may require travel of up to 1 week at a time,

occasionally out of town.

• Experience in and knowledge of the K-12 market is a plus

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary range: $45,000 - $58,000, plus bonus based on company performance

• Flexible pay equal to 15% of salary
