The Quality Assurance Internship will primarily focus on document control, upkeep, and maintenance of ongoing records and logs within our quality management system. As a Quality Assurance Intern, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organization meets regulatory compliance standards and maintains the highest level of quality in our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Document Control: Assist in organizing, updating, and managing documents related to quality assurance procedures, standards, and specifications. Ensure that all documents are accurately labeled, stored, and accessible to relevant personnel.
Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of quality control tests, inspections, and audits. Input data into spreadsheets or databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Assist in generating reports summarizing key findings and metrics.
Audit Support: Provide support during internal and external audits by gathering requested documentation, verifying compliance with regulatory requirements, and assisting in the resolution of any identified issues.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for streamlining document control processes and improving the efficiency of record-keeping systems. Collaborate with team members to implement changes and enhancements.
Training Assistance: Assist in the preparation and delivery of training materials related to quality assurance procedures and documentation requirements. Support the onboarding of new employees and interns to ensure understanding and adherence to quality standards.
Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with members of the quality assurance team as well as other departments such as production, engineering, and regulatory affairs to ensure alignment and consistency in quality processes and documentation.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a degree program in a relevant field such as Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements (preferred but not required).
Duration: This is a temporary, Part-time Hourly internship position lasting approximately [insert duration, e.g., 10-12 weeks] during the summer months.
