Confidential is Hiring a Construction Project Manager Near Chino, CA

The Project Manager serves as the primary leader in the field, and is directly accountable for the safety, financial performance, and team development on site. The Project Manager will lead the project team in the construction of the entire Project. This position is responsible to build and maintain a strong relationship with the Client, Construction Manager, Subcontractors, Design Team, and Stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • This position is responsible to build and maintain a strong relationship with the subcontractors, Client, Architect and Engineers.
  • Partner with Project Superintendent in development of a project site logistics plan
  • Maintain thorough understanding of the contract
  • Oversee the pay request process
  • Monitor project costs and Job Cost Report
  • Implement and monitor training of all staff personnel
  • Review and approve material, forming system and equipment needs
  • Assist Estimating in bidding projects
  • Lead the project’s quality process
  • Develop, schedule and lead project close-out processes
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors, subcontractors and Clients
  • Implement all applicable Safety Programs
  • Review contact exclusions to ensure all scopes are covered
  • Oversee COR/CPE process, review and submit CPES, maintain COR tracking log, issue subcontractor COs
  • Develop strategies for underperforming subcontractors

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering required
  • 7 years of experience in highly complex and related construction projects
  • Advanced knowledge of construction principles/practices required
  • Experienced dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors and/or self-perform work preferred
  • Experience leading successful project team, including development of employee and maintaining relationships with external entities
  • Excellent organizational, team management, problem solving, motivational skills
  • Demonstrates effective communication skills (both verbal & written)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Etc.)
  • Proficient in Bluebeam
  • Proficient in Procore

Location(s): Chino CA

Salary DOE Range $120K to $180K
