**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Business Manager to grow with us. SERVPRO Team Lindsay currently operates in 3 states, with future expansion forthcoming. In the past four years, we have grown from a headcount of 9 to 70 and continue to grow rapidly. We are a people-first company, meaning our employees and customers are at the forefront of everything we do. Our business manager will be based out of our Charlottesville office but will be equally involved in our Tenessee, West Virginia, and any new locations we acquire (travel not required).

**Duties:**

- Post accounting entries and ensure the books and financials are up to date

- Run Royalty reports each month and submit them to our corporate office

- Manage all insurance policy renewals, audits, updates, issues, and claims; compare premiums; and shop for new coverage when necessary. We have an unbelievable amount of insurance policies in place, so extensive experience in this arena is essential

- Ensure federal and state compliance

- Standardize protocols and procedures across all our locations in each state we operate in

- Identify areas for process improvement and implement effective solutions

-Monitor financials of each location

-Assist with the purchase, onboarding, and streamlining of additional offices and locations

-Post accounting entries and assist with our tax returns (CPA prepares the returns, but there is still legwork that goes into this before it gets to them)

**Qualifications:**

-Accounting or financial background. Debits, credits, assets, liabilities, etc.

- Proven experience dealing with complex insurance policies. If the only insurance policy you have ever seen is your car insurance policy, this position probably is not for you

- Strong background in process improvement

- Be able to blaze your own path. This is a new position without set parameters and guidelines, so the ideal candidate can roll with the punches and blaze their own trail

- Demonstrated success in business development and implementing growth strategies

- A degree in accounting, finance, insurance management, or business management is highly recommended.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
