We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Custodial Technician to join our team at the IRS Annex. In this role, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, healthy, and professional environment for our valued tenants.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation for all floor areas throughout the IRS Annex.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal.
• Deep clean floors using techniques such as stripping, buffing, and waxing (training provided).
• Properly handle and dispose of cleaning chemicals and waste materials according to safety protocols.
• Replenish restroom supplies and ensure restrooms are clean and sanitary.
• Report any maintenance concerns or equipment malfunctions to the Lead Custodian.
• Assist the Lead Custodian with additional cleaning tasks as needed.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with tenants and building occupants.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a custodial or cleaning role.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality cleaning standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically able to perform cleaning tasks, which may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license may be preferred (depending on location).
