Heartland Food Products Group is Hiring a Route sales driver Near Carmel, IN

Our Java House and Splenda beverage team is seeking Route Sales Drivers to service office parks within the Indianapolis area responsible for sales and service of office water dispensers, while promoting Java House cold brew coffee products and Splenda flavored water enhancer products.

Along your route, you will ensure that clients are displaying our products positively and encourage customers to order additional product.

We expect all of our drivers to make deliveries on time and maintain positive and professional relationships with our customers.

We will provide a company delivery vehicle.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Develop new customers and demonstrate water dispenser systems with Java House and Splenda products
  • Ensure products are stocked and displayed well in each location
  • Keep inventory and order additional products from the warehouse as necessary
  • Maintain customer relationships

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Degree preferred. High school diploma or GED certificate required
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Good time management skills, while meeting sales goals and customer satisfaction during the business day. You will be tasked with managing your own time and schedule while meeting sales goals and customer satisfaction
  • Customer service skills
  • CDL license not required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

  • Physical stamina to load and unload products
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Must be able to work extended hours, such as daily overtime and an occasional weekend
