DescriptionLindsey McCarthy with Robert Half has an exciting Hybrid opportunity for an HR Specialist in Buffalo, New York. The HR Specialist will play a critical role in various HR functions such as recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and benefits functions. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the overall success of the company.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the recruitment and onboarding process to ensure a smooth and positive experience for new hires.
  • Handle employee relations issues and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Implement and monitor compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Administer and manage benefits functions to ensure employees understand their benefits options.
  • Develop and implement corporate recruiting strategies to meet the company's hiring needs.
  • Ensure company compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies.
  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics.
  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits, and conducting team building activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • Compliance knowledge and experience is necessary for this role
  • Experience in managing Employee Relations is required
  • The role requires proficiency in Onboarding processes
  • Corporate Recruiting skills and experience are essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required
  • Candidates should be capable of handling confidential information with discretion
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment is necessary
  • Proficiency in HR related software and applications is preferred
  • Understanding of HR laws and regulations is expected
  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
