Responsibilities Scope and Responsibilities :Performs repetitive work at a work station or assembly line, assembling metal, electrical, or mechanical components/parts into an HVAC unit.
Specific Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Performs any assembly functions, using hand or power tools
- Monitor and responsible for the overall quality of the work being performed
- Operates both stationary and moving overhead cranes
- Install wiring
- Operate fork lift, as required
- Ability to use hand or pneumatic power tools
- Performs activities in accordance with the procedures outlined in the work instructions and drawings
- Ability to read and understand drawings/blue prints, as well as read a tape measure and angles.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Previous manufacturing experience required.
- Sheet metal experience is preferred.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand up to 100% of the time. The employee frequently is required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and climb or balance. The employee is regularly required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, or craw; push and pull; and talk or hear.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds frequently and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
