Job Description

Job Title: Accounts Payable Coordinator

Position Type: Full Time

Reporting Lines: Tubular Senior Cost Accountant

Summary:

The Accounts Payable Coordinator ensures timely payment of vendor invoices and expense vouchers and maintains accurate records and control reports. Responsible for the timely and accurate application of cash disbursements for the Tubular Bristol and Munhall sites and provides backup for the other Tubular locations. Reports to the Senior Cost Accountant.

Principle Duties:

• Tubular Invoicing – Shipping Documents, PO Price, Quantity Verification, Surcharges
• Credit Cards - Processing
• Enter new vendors'vendor changes in Deacom and verify
• Receive invoices to be paid
• Invoicing for vendors
• Invoicing Adjustments > $500
• Investigate any discrepancies in vendor invoices and PO's
• Create Credit Memos
• Assist with account reconciliations
• Investigate Purchase Price Variances
• Review Ready to Invoice - check to ensure no aged invoices
• Review Received not Vouched
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• 4 years of accounting experience
• Shared service environment with high volume transaction, payment and general ledger activity requirements
• Knowledge of SOX and internal control processes related to procurement, and payment maintenance
• ERP experience in a heavy manufacturing environment, preferable with multi-location responsibility

• Ability to aggressively research and resolve issues independently
• Self-starter with strong work ethic, and collaborative work style
• Strong team player style with focus on team development and culture
