JOB SUMMARY:
Perform various duties related to weekly payroll and garnishment and monthly union processing.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
1. Checking timesheet/software for accuracy and working with field personnel for corrections
2. Working with Human Resources and Data entry of documents for hiring or terminating employees; verify accuracy of foremen’s reports and other data required for processing payroll
3. Balancing and Processing weekly payroll and field checks
4. Processing wage garnishments
5. Processing monthly union reports and payments timely
6. Making adjustments in pay and fringes for new union rates, raises, bonuses
7. Prepare various daily, weekly, monthly, annual and job-to-date reports
8. Entering data into databases and spreadsheets
9. Work with employees and superiors addressing questions and issue that arise
10. Drive to evaluate current processes for efficiency improvement
11. Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction
