Empire Contractors is currently seeking a qualified person to fill a position in our office to assist project managers with ongoing project tasks, as well as overseeing general office duties.

Responsibilities include

· Creation and tracking of project subcontracts and purchase orders

· Project submittal log creation, management, and handling for ongoing projects

· Project closeout documentation creation and tracking

· Bid solicitation and coverage assistance

· General office duties

o Answering phones

o Mail distribution

o Handling shipments and deliveries as needed

· Assisting the accounts payable department

Education/Experience/Skills Requirement:

· High school diploma required

· Office assistant experience preferred

· Ideal candidate to be organized, and to possess strong skills in Microsoft Office

Hours/ Pay:

· Hours are somewhat flexible depending on the individual's needs-position could be part-time or full time

· Pay is very competitive and commensurate with experience
