The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the financial reporting, accounting, and financial analysis functions of the company. This role will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, maintain effective internal controls, and provide strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance financial controls and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate and oversee the annual audit process, including liaising with external auditors.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, providing accurate and timely financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff, ensuring a high level of performance and professional growth.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall company objectives and initiatives.
- Assist with special projects and financial analysis as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
