Overview

Tantus Technologies, Inc. - recognized by the Washington Post as a Top Workplace - is seeking a qualified Test Analyst (TA) to ensure that projects they test meet TMB standards to ensure successful delivery, interoperability, and supportability. The TA also is partner in the refinement, development, and maintains of test processes and procedures, as well as a technical resource for areas of their expertise. This includes the training of other team members in their areas of familiarity and responsibility. 

What You'll Do

• Build test platforms using TMB build and imaging processes.
• Peform testing of projects for workstations.
• Ensure that projects tested meet TMB standards and requirements established for tests.
• Provide accurate test results for assigned projects to include the completion of applicable test documentation that may include System Test Plan (STP) , System Test Result (STR), and Unit Test Plan (UTP).
• Update status on assigned projects in testing lifecycle in project tracking system (Phacil Project GPL) at least one a week.
• Notify Test Team Lead when testing is complete.
• Clearly and precisely document issues discovered during testing in an Issue Report (IPR) form and notify the assigned integration rescources of the problem.
• Attend project Kick-Off, Test Readiness Review (TRR) and Post Test Review (PTR) , and other planning meetings for assigned projects as required.
• Review Pre-Requirement Definition Documents (RDD) when assigned and return to PS in a 24 hour time frame, identifying Testing questions ,test constraints, and items to confirm for project.
• Assist in the development and maintance of TMB test processes, test document tempates, and procedures.
• Assist in the training of members of the test team in TMB testing processes and test areas of their expertise.
• Draft Testing Wavier and Cerfication Failure Form (CFF) for failures identified during testing to be given to the PS.
• Become proficient in placing applications in SCCM for application delivery/removal tests.
• Provide support for Agency Testers performing Customer Integrated Certification (CIC)
• Review agency submitted test results for CIC and perform supplemental testing if necessary, such as:
  • Delivery only testing
  • Tests for additional Operating Systems (OS)
  • Additional tests to verify accuracy of results if necessary
• Close IPRs for issues found to be corrected, mitigated, or addressed.
• Provide weekly status of work performed no later than Monday Morning following the work
• Cross train and become proficient in additional other areas of testing:
  • Macintosh Certification Tests
  • Server Testing
  • BPA Equipment Testing.
• Provide backup support for the Macintosh certification processes.
• Comply with internal Tantus requirements as outlined in the Tantus Employee Handbook, i.e. Biweekly submissions, timesheet completion, etc.
• Ensure that the Tantus Commitment is applied in every day duties.
