Nyobolt is Hiring a Technical Product Manager Near Bedford, MA

As a rechargeable battery subject matter expert, you will research and assess customer and market requirements; identifying the needs in emerging and strategic market spaces for fast charging battery products, access new and existing technologies, current strategies, branding, and/or licensing opportunities.
This work will enable you to direct the analysis of long-term market trends, customer needs, and competitive strategies in order to help develop a business strategy that ensures Nyobolt's long-term success.
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Proactively characterize target markets for Nyobolt’s existing and future products across technical, commercial, and strategic elements. 
  • Analyze competitor technologies to maximize Nyobolt’s position in the market. 
  • Identify, engage, and develop relationships with key potential customers. 
  • Inform Nyobolt’s short- and long-term strategy to meet customer needs. 
  • Coordinate market activities across cell, pack, and application teams in the US and UK. 
Qualifications: 
  • Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related. 
  • Professional experience in a technical or business development role related to cells, batteries, charging systems, and/or power electronics. 
  • Background in select markets of interest: Grid, material handling, consumer devices, power tools, automotive and/or industrial/specialty equipment. 
  • Demonstrated experience in proposal and report preparation. 
  • Comfortable speaking in front of a technical audience and the C suite. 
  • Ability to travel internationally to conferences, trade shows, or customer sites
