Description

The Human Resource Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes at the business locations.

This role acts as liaison between Human Resources, employees, ADP Total source, insurance providers, and any other agency requiring the support from HR. This position resolves benefits-related problems and ensures effective use of plans and positive employee relations.

The Human Resource Coordinator makes sure that services are supported in all aspects of HR. This role provides administrative support to the human resource functions, including record-keeping, file maintenance, and event planning, implementation, and participation. This position reports to the Corporate HR Director.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Verifies on boarding forms, I-9s, WCs, and documentation and maintains HR files.
  • Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks.
  • Assists with processing of terminations and exit interviews.
  • Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
  • Assists with recruitment and interview process.
  • Assists with special events and activities sponsored by Corp. HR and other within each facility.
  • Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the HR Corporate Recruiter and HR Consultancy Director.
  • Assists with preparation and set-up for visitors, maintains inventories of needed supplies, and assists with any materials needed for presentations, audits, etc.
  • Makes photocopies; mails, scans, and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
  • Files documents into appropriate employee files.
  • Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
  • Assists with preparation of new-employee files.
  • Processes mail.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Provides information by answering questions and requests.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Education / Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years’ related experience required.
  • HRM Certification preferred.
  • Able to work OT, evenings, weekends and holidays, when necessary, more so, to support special events, or other activities as sponsored by the Company.

Knowledge and Skills

  • GMP Manufacturing Environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, PP, and other related software.
  • Familiarity with ADP systems to be able to assist with time and attendance issues for biweekly payroll preparation.
  • Must be bilingual

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and or standing, depending on the activities planned for the day.
  • Time standing and or sitting will vary from day to day.
  • Must be able to comply with PPE requirements when inside the manufacturing plant.
  • Able to sit for long periods of time working at a desk and on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift between 10- 15 pounds at times.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
