About the role:
A Collection Specialist is responsible for tracking, reporting, and collecting outstanding inheritance assignments due ProbateCash. The role involves communicating with lawyers, court personnel, and customers while following active probate cases throughout the country and inputting those communications in the ProbateCash CRM system.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor all of company’s outstanding advances and identify if there are potential collection issues.
- Contact various parties such as Attorneys, Estate Administrators, and Customers via phone, email, or mail to follow up on outstanding advances.
- Establish rapport with probate lawyers throughout the country.
- Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions with customers.
- Update customer accounts and status reports in ProbateCash’s CRM.
- Prepare and present regular reports on status of outstanding advances and make recommendations based on such communications and reports
- Investigate and report all discrepancies and disputes related to outstanding advances.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent;
- Preferred experience working in the legal field.
- Understanding of how to follow legal cases on court websites.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Conflict resolution skills are essential.
- Strong diligence and accuracy.
