We are looking for a Billing Specialistto join SMArtX. The Billing Specialist will play a crucial role inthe Accounting team maintainingrevenue accuracy.
Roles &Responsibilities
- Providemonthly reporting to clients detailing applicable fees & feecollection statuses.
- Reconcile cash collectionsfrom client accounts at multiplecustodians
- Invoice clients for monthly &quarterly fees
- Calculate payout amounts toadvisors and money managers
- Fulfill clientrefund requests
- Field client inquiries andsubmit and track related support tickets
- Assistfinance department with ad hoc reporting andprojects
- Comfortable working with large datasets
- Learn and navigate new software platformsproprietary to SMArtX
- Communication andOrganization skills with multiple open tasks communicateprofessionally with clients on a dailybasis
- Create and distribute Excelbasedreports
- Manipulate Excel spreadsheets withIndex Matching Pivot tables and Sumifs
- Customerservice experience
- Able to track and follow upwith multiple work tickets
- Maintain and verifyclient pricing within our softwareplatform
Requirements :
- Highproficiency in Microsoft Excel including :
- Pivottables
- Index / Matching
- Sumifs
- Nestedformulas
- SQL Server proficiency is aplus
- 1 years of finance experience is aplus
- 1 years of brokerage service experience isa plus
- Experience working with large datasetsis a plus
- ClientService
- Associate Accounting degree aplus.
